Located at the foot of the Hohensalzburg fortress since the 15th century, the Salzburg Christmas Market takes place 11.23.2017 thru 12.26.2017 on Residenz Square.

There are several ways to transform a room into a party venue, but there is only one way to transform a town into a Christmas Market, and Salzburg has that down pat! Salzburg first reminds its inhabitants Christmas is near by way of ringing its church bells... Then there's the smell of toasted almonds, roasted chestnuts, and baked apples.
