Overview
Expect 3-4 hours of walking every touring day, as well as considerable time standing. You may need to walk on uneven and challenging terrain, navigate steep steps or slopes, and encounter cobblestone streets.
DAY 1, Friday - Depart for Canada
Arrive in
quaint Quebec City, the only walled city in North America, acclaimed as
the "most French" city outside of France. Transfer independently to the
hotel. Time to settle in before tonight's orientation meeting at
approximately 7 PM with your Tour Manager

DAY 2, Saturday - Quebec City Tour, Evening Christmas Market Tour
Begin
your exploration of Quebec City, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. See the
fortifications that surround the cobblestone streets, old stone
buildings, and many small churches. Continue to the beautiful Plains of
Abraham, where the famous Battle of Quebec between the French and
English armies took place in 1759. Admire views of picturesque Place
d'Armes and admire Le Château Frontenac, perched elegantly atop Cape
Diamond. The afternoon is free to explore independently. This evening,
depart on a tour of the Christmas market. Discover a magical European
wonderland nestled right in the heart of Quebec City. Pass by the
brightly decorated wooden kiosks, they are the perfect place to find
that unique gift

DAY 3, Sunday - Full Day in Quebec City
Spend the morning at leisure, or perhaps, join the optional
Countryside Tour. Travel back in time to rural Quebec, as you pass by
the many traditional villages on your way to the Shrine of
Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupre. Stop at Montmorency Falls, and visit the Island
of Orleans. Conclude the tour with a stop at a chocolate shop. Make the
most of your final evening in Quebec, at your own pace. Take in the
magical Christmas decor throughout the city, or perhaps one last stop at
the Market for mulled wine and shopping
